UAMMA CIC – Community Sport for Everyone
UAMMA CIC is a community sports organisation based in Luton, providing accessible sporting opportunities for children, young people and adults.
To provide facilities for, and promote participation in, amateur sport within our local community.
UAMMA is committed to operating as an inclusive community sports club.
Sport England Recognised Sports
UAMMA provides structured coaching and participation opportunities in sports recognised by Sport England, including:
Boxing
UAMMA provides boxing coaching and training for children, young people and adults, from beginners through to participants developing towards amateur competition.
Wrestling
UAMMA provides freestyle wrestling coaching and training for juniors and adults. Our wrestling programme supports recreational participation, physical development and amateur sporting development.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
UAMMA provides Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coaching and training for children and adults, including gi, no-gi, recreational and amateur sporting participation.
Ju Jitsu
UAMMA also provides martial arts and grappling-based training incorporating Ju Jitsu disciplines and techniques.
Sport England's current recognised-sports list includes Boxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Ju Jitsu and Wrestling, alongside their recognised national governing bodies.
UAMMA's sporting programmes are delivered as structured sporting activities, with participants able to take part recreationally, for fitness and personal development, or progress towards appropriate amateur competition.
Open to the Whole Community
UAMMA welcomes people from all backgrounds and levels of sporting experience.
Membership and participation are not restricted on the basis of ethnicity, nationality, religion or belief, sex, age, disability or sexual orientation.
Where particular sporting activities require age, weight, ability or other safety requirements, these are applied fairly and solely for appropriate and safe participation.

Participation in Sport
Members can participate for fitness, recreation, personal development or progress towards amateur competition.
We welcome complete beginners and provide structured pathways for participants to develop their sporting skills and abilities.
Affordable and Accessible Sport
We aim to keep participation in sport affordable and accessible to members of our local community.
UAMMA provides a range of membership and training options for different age groups and circumstances.
Financial Support
We also seek to provide subsidised and supported sporting opportunities where funding allows and will consider requests for financial assistance where the cost of participation would otherwise prevent someone from taking part.
